Sunday school is a platform for shaping the faith of children, serving as the foundation for the growth of their faith. There are three institutions involved: the family, the church (in this case, Sunday school), and formal education through Christian Religious Education and spiritual education in schools, all contributing to the formation of a child's faith. Children in the village of Waringin, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, live a simple life in a serene and comfortable environment. Sunday school worship is an eagerly awaited activity, much like formal education. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the HBLT learning method at the GMI Waringin hamlet Sunday school in South Lampung Regency, especially about the uniqueness of this hamlet, which has produced many youths called to be servants of God. The underlying assumption, based on observations, is the relationship between faith formation and the maturity of faith in answering the call to serve the church. The method used is qualitative descriptive analysis, gathering information from informants such as parents, church council members, and church youths. The research question guiding the study is how effective is the HBLT learning method at Sunday school in building the faith of children so that they mature and are called to be church servants. The findings indicate that the implementation of the HBLT learning method at GMI Waringin Hamlet Sunday School is well-received by the children, and the method is diverse, making use of available learning media in the environment.
