This research highlights the social and economic problems faced by children from leprosy families, as well as the impact of leprosy on individuals and society at large. These children often experience significant social and economic discrimination, forcing them to engage in work that is inappropriate for their age and health. The impact of employment of children with leprosy is not only limited to their physical health, but also includes their psychosocial well-being and future. The importance of proper treatment was also emphasized as a critical step to prevent severe disability and greater socio-economic impact. The role of Wesley Theological College and Yayasan Agape Hijau Abadi in providing holistic support to people with leprosy and their families, as well as in reducing social stigma, is crucial. Collaboration between the two has the potential to improve the quality of life of leprosy sufferers and their families, and build a more inclusive and empathetic society. It is hoped that these efforts will create a more supportive environment for leprosy sufferers and their families, as well as increase public awareness of the importance of their protection and proper care.
